Haws = Curry. You have to respect his shooting ability from range on the pick and roll, which means you either have to switch or double. And he can make the difficult pass out of the double team to start the 4 on 3.
Emery = Thompson. Dead eye shooter, you can't leave him to help on penetration, which creates space on the interior.
Bryant = Barnes. Another spacer, can make you pay for helping off of him.
Dastrup = Green. Proficient ball handler, good passer, and a great decision maker at the PF spot off of the pick and roll in the 4 on 3 situation.
Mika = Bogut. Catch lobs and throw it down it when the defense helps off of you.
The key to the entire offense is having a skilled 4. From the film I've seen and about Dastrup, he is a great passer and is capable of handling the ball in the open floor. It takes a special player to do what Draymond Green does in the Warriors' offense. But if Payton can fill that role, BYU could be really fun to watch in the near future with the talent on the roster. Right now, it is brutal to watch BYU play in the half court.
