Rio Tinto is one of my clients. The article was written by a couple of hacks
that want money from RT. They don't know what they are talking about. The EPA would shut them down if they were poluting more than the allowed limits. The EPA keeps the limits very tight. COAL is not bad!!!!!!!!! Get it through your heads.... The smoke stacks are to keep the ash from coming out and most of it falls back down into the stacks requiring them to have to clean it up.
The majority of the "polution" RT put in the air is DUST!!!!!. Silica is bad for you but they are not putting out that much. They said they were the worst in utah. Do know know of any other company in UTAH that has an operation even close or 1/10th the size of RT. NO. Dont believe everything you read off of the internet.
