Sure he could get upset and decide to transfer at the notion that they give the job back to Taysom. But while tanner may not be thrilled at the prospect of potentially losing his job, I don't see him as the kind that would make a rash decision over it nor do i think the coaches will just give the job to Taysom without a true competition. If Taysom wins the job, tanner is going to sit a year regardless whether he transfers or whether he's the backup. But likely as not whoever ends up starting, the likelihood is strong that they will go down with injury so that both are almost assured to play next year if they stay at BYU.
