I used to love movies set in space
Maybe Avatar ruined it for me.
I didn't love The Martian like I thought I would. It was like Interstellar + Gravity + Castaway. I liked The Martian more than Interstellar, but that isn't saying a lot. Please no more plots where the only way the spacecraft gets home is to use a planet's gravitational pull to slingshot it. You knew they were going to work that in to the Martian.
