Running red lights? What gives? When I grew up in SLC even at peak
rush hour it was very rare to see a car actually go through the intersection on a red. Like it literally made you angry and shocked when you saw it twice a year. It seems now a days that when I don't see a car pass through the intersection on a red, I'm stunned. Like it's a given. You just wait for the guy to do it before you proceed on your green.

What's going here? Is this just a population thing? A Utah, big truck, ego thing? Is it new technology that has made us just so darn impatient?
