So my mom is in town and will be working from our home in the basement, she has a VoIP phone that has to be hard-wired in. I don't even need to "extend" my wifi signal, as it is already strong in the basement, but I need a bridge so that she can plug into with an ethernet cable.

Any suggestions? I see there are $40-50 options, but also some that are much more. Do i really need dual-band?
