I really disagree.
They could be offered inclusion in a way that's bad/inequitable for BYU-
They could be left out due to social issues outside of their control.
The Quorum of the 12 may consider an offer and be against it in lieu of more autonomy.
The BIG12 may go East.
You have no idea what anybody is thinking. Your statement is very uneducated and short-sided.
The university does not exist to house a sports program. Sports exists to further the mission of the university. The tail will not wag the dog.
