This thread is full of folks who rag on Mr. Dodd for his opinion that independence has failed. Yet I would wager that 99% of those same posters would jump at the chance of BYU joining the big12.

There are many quotes from coaches and members of this board who claim that independence isn't the answer. They (cougarboard members) gripe about lame games in the late season and whine about the bowl games BYU has to play in. Yet when Dennis talks about independence being a failure, he is an idiot...

This board is proof that the consumers of BYU football are not happy with independence yet there is a huge panty wadding session that happens if an outsider points it out... It's just funny.
