As I said above...
One years results would not be the determining factor in a system like that, it would be a multi year deal meaning a team would have to show consistent success to move up and a team would have to show consistent futility to move down. I completely agree it will never happen but that is completely different from saying it shouldn't. As it stands now those "bluebloods" are always bluebloods. Auburn doesn't really qualify as a blueblood, their history is up and down and second tier, there are very, very few schools that qualify as bluebloods anyway, very few.
