I think most players that feel that way drop out of the sports because of that
very issue long before college.
I'm hessitant to even sign my son up for sports because every sport here will have sabbath day issue even right from the get-go.
That said, if a kid finds a way to make it work, I'd like BYU to be a haven for him.

Really? So how is BYU any different from every other D1 program. You get offered if your good, BYU doesn't control that.
