I'm not really a Trekkie. I never watched the original tv show and I only saw a few episodes of next Generation. I always found Star Trek to be a little too nerdy for me.

However, I really do like this reboot series. I think it's very well done. It feels more like Star Wars than Star Trek to me. The stories and action are very good and the actors have great chemistry with each other. The cast is a lot of fun to watch.

Btw, I didn't notice the gay Sulu scene that everyone's talking about. I guess I must have blinked or wasn't paying close enough attention.
