Either TH is extremely confident we'll be selected, but knows anything can happen and refuses to rest on his laurels.
OR
He's sweating bullets that any verbal promise he's received could quickly be yanked due to Texas politics.
One thing seems obvious, this is not a "done deal" and that's okay. I still believe we're the front runner and TH won't rest until it's official.
Either way, we'll likely find out before long. The BIG XII can't open up this arms race and expect it to carry on for months (ie. October presidents' meeting.) I think two teams get announced in the next couple weeks.
