I had a terrible byu to big XII dream
Tom Holme (th) and big XII meet in a deep dark corner hotel room in Laramie Wyoming to avoid any chance of publicity

Th had a non discloser sitting in front of him. It stated in part, "if no membership, these talks never happened."

Th later had another meeting a week later in Denver Colorado and at this meeting was byu pres, lds slc rep, byutv rep and some staff, joined by big XII, fox and ESPN

Deal was discussed and on the table. We are in! just needed to run deal through process and up to slc

At this point cougarboard is on fire with legit insider info

Byutv guy wasn't happy about deal because fox wouldn't release games for replay and byutv couldn't be guaranteed to do one home football game.

Th was holding meetings and planning party including big XII parade

Why this was going on byutv guy was talking with proment big time byutv booster/ donor

Byutv donor guy had good buddy in slc lds that had control over final approval of byu to bigxii deal. Donor and byutv reaches out to slc guy with "this deal will be just like mwctv deal only worse. No exposure on byutv. We are getting lots of exposure under current independent deal plus this has been huge for byutv. This current deal would take us back to mwctv days."

Slc guy calls th and informs him that slc won't sign off on deal unless byutv gets what it has now with independence and ESPN deal.

Th goes to big XII and the big XII replays," th you guys are impossible to deal with. "

Shortly after it is announced some hillbilly university in the boonies is added to big XII and

byu to big XII was publicly reported to have never been discussed or considered

I am just really glad this was just a dream and nothing this stupid could ever possibly happen
