much confusion and disagreement is in the fact that not all "insiders" are created equal. On cougarboard the term insider is often used to describe too many types of posters thus causing this divide of "pro insiders" and "anti insiders".
This is stupid and shouldn't require explanation but apparently it is needed here.
-Cougarboard has a few people with ties to the AD office.
- Cougarboard has a few people with ties to high level donors.
- Cougarboard has a few people with real ties to notable people from other schools.
^^^ all the above hear bits of information. It's mostly not comprehensive (how could it be only hearing one side?)but they get enough info to establish credibility from a reasonably good track record.
Cougarboard also has...
- a few guys that in their imaginations have connections to the AD office.
- a few guys that in their minds are connected to high level donors
- a few guys that in their minds are connected to notable people of other schools.
^^^ these guys are the problem. They muddy the waters and cause a great deal of contradiction, confusion and disagreement.
The commonly referred to theory of "things are fluid" is too often used as a hedge to cover their lies and avoid accountability for their trolling.
Do yourself a favor and stop confusing yourself with posters who hear things and posters who really only hear things in their own minds and pass the info along as fact.
