Holmoe said BYU knows it will have to take less money, at least starting out, and that financial negotiations mean little to him.
“I really don't care about that,” Holmoe said. “This would give our kids the opportunity to shine. We will make a big difference in the Big 12. We will make the Big 12 proud.”
BYU is not a perfect fit. But Holmoe is right. Adding BYU to the conference would make the Big 12 better, and that's what the conference needs most.

It's actually shorter, distance wise, to Provo from OKC, but 20 minutes shorter time wise to Morgantown.
