He and his wife are actually really good people, and are friends of ours. They live in a basement apartment of an older man in our ward (88 years old). The two families have grown to become really close.

Anyways, the Utah fan and his wife found a house they wanted to buy, and are currently under contract. Apparently, the older man has nobody else in mind to pass along his estate, so he told the couple that if they stayed in the basement until he passed away, he would just give them the house for free.

They are moving anyway. (And by the way, we live in a nice enough part of SLC that the house will be worth a lot of money).

What is wrong with people?
