but some of the comments in this other thread I saw while I was over there sure are. Some highlights:

We all know that the MWC will be the next conference into the power conferences or that Utah State will likely be involved in the next expansion if they do indeed take 14 teams as our AD has suggested. That is after-all why we are making the huge upgrades. U-state has a huge untapped marked of students. We have more out of state students than uu or byu by far. We need our own media so they can listen in at work and be more involved. It is how we will reach out to them. If we have better media and win "they will come".

Don't underestimate what one big bowl win will do for Utah State. Everyone talks about the national following BYU has. I can tell you that it is not as national as everyone wants to think. Win a big bowl and USU will be as well known if not more well know than BYU

Apparently, having a lot of students from SE Idaho gives USU a more national fan base than even BYU has (even though only about 1/3 of BYU students are from Utah).
