I was repairing shingles on my roof after every major storm. Then, after one of
Provo's famous "micro bursts", the roof really got shredded. We filed a claim on our homeowners, and the adjuster gave us enough to cover re-shingling (replace 20 with a 30 year roof) and some of the deductible as well. When all was said an done, it cost about 500 bucks out of pocket for the new roof. That was almost 7 years ago. Rates never increased from it as far as I can tell.
