Im not saying that is the way the church intended these things to be, but more of a by-product of being connected to so many individuals around the country/world and having a chance to see one another so frequently, be involved in the communities, build relationships, etc. I mean, how else would random guy X be able to get into the living room of an assistant coach or an admin of a D1 program if not for home teaching, or elders quorum? Just as an example.
