Everytime we beat one of them we help the others who are already ahead of us. Since so many of our remaining games are against the division, it becomes cyclic and we are entirely reliant on one of those teams above us losing to more than just us while we still have to maintain essentially a .700 winning percentage for the rest of the year. That said, given the haul for 1/2 year of Chapman, Cashman should get at least twice as valuable haul for 2.5 years of Miller if he is wont to trade him. I think it will be an interesting few years leading up to the free agent class of 2018. I will be curious to see how many projected free agents wind up making it to the market.
