^^^This^^^ If you are wanting to spend less for Bose, try and find a pair of
QC15s (new or gently used) that someone is selling and you can probably get them for much less than $300.

Although I have 'upgraded' to QC35s (because I wanted to ditch the cord), I still have a pair of QC15s that have worked flawlessly for years... and the noise cancellation on them is almost as good as Bose's current offering (QC25/QC35).
