I think this makes the Big12 stronger
Adding Cincy makes sense for keeping WVU in the league long-term (so they don't look to bolt to the SEC or ACC or B1G if the chance arises). Adding Houston provides value and more interest in Houston, perhaps slowing the tide of SEC interest in the city. Adding BYU and CSU gives the Big 12 options with television that no other league would have. I think 3 times zones is a good thing from a TV point of view.

Just last week, at Pac 12 media days, Larry Scott talked about how the Pac 12 is at a disadvantage because they can only realistically expand within their footprint and can't add more inventory for TV negotiations. Having at least two schools in three time zones makes inventory more plentiful, which is what the Pac 12 wanted to do when they tried to become the Pac 16.

I think the Big 12 should add 4 schools and start a digital network with the help of ESPN.
