Albuquerque High Schools: La Cueva or AIMS?

We are moving to Albuquerque, and my son has a choice of La Cueva high school, or a magnet school in AIMS (Albuquerque Institute of Math and Science). He will be starting in 9th grade. Any other LDS kids go to AIMS? Anyone have any experience with either school?
