Texas has wanted to stay regional.
1991: Arkansas wanted Texas to go to the sec with them and UT said no even though the SWC looked terrible without Arkie
1993: Texas could have gone to the PAC & A&M to the sec but Texas said no.
2010: Texas w/0U. oSu, & TTU (or possibly KU) could have gone to the PAC twice but UT said no. Texas talked to ACC and Big10 as well as the PAC.
Texas will listen but ultimately will stay regional until it is hopeless.
