Average age of BYU opponents
According to CBSsports, the average age for BYU this year is 23. How do the opponents stack up?
AZ - 22.5
UT - 21.4
UCLA - 20.9
WV - 20.8
Toledo - 21
Mich St. - 20.6
Miss St. - 20.7
Boise - Not Available
Cinci - 21.7
SUU - 21
UMass - 21.6

A 1.7 year age advantage, while taking at least two years off from any sort of competitive activity, study, work with coaches, using university facilities. Man, why don't more coaches get on this. Maybe send their guys to disease infested, third world countries to live in cut rate apartments, with a food allowance to cover basic staples and an occasional fast food meal. I'm sure there are TONS of D1 players who would fall all over themselves to gain that sort of advantage.

If 3 of 4 players serve missions, the avg BYU player is about 1.5 years older (Thrill, Aug 25, 2016 at 4:37pm)
