My parents are there right now, probably same place your friend was.
They have four in their boat and have fished 3 full days (12 hours fishing) and have landed 14 halibut and 4 silvers. When I was there last year I only got 3 silvers over the course of the week. They're on track to get two per person this week. Normally we get probably 3-4 silvers per person per day.
