Yesterday at Costco we parked next to a big truck with a U sticker on it that over parked.

Had a couple sleeping kiddos so I went in. It was a tight squeeze of the passenger side of my car but not terrible.

Ute fan comes back to the truck with my wife in the passenger seat of our van. Pounds on the window and yells at my wife that she needs to move the car cause he can't get in his door.

My wife, taken a back by his rudeness says "no." He goes on again about it and she says "if you apologize and ask nicely then I'll move."

Instead he gets an employee and brings out the Costco manager. Manager comes out and after talking to the man she comes to my wife and asks if she'd move.

Wife responds, "I'd be happy to but this man has been so rude and belligerent that unless he apologizes I'm not going to move. He's trying to intimidate me and he's making my kids cry out of fear." (The guy totally made a couple of my kids cry)

Costco manager says to guy "can't you climb in through the passenger door?" He says "no" and she says "well she won't move unless you apologize to her."

The man storms to his door and yells at my wife who happens to be wearing the only BYU shirt she owns and he says, "You know what your problem is? You're a BYU fan!" He pushes the side mirror in then opens his door and slams it purposely against our car door, climbs in and proceeds to drive away. Costco manager witnesses the whole thing and snaps a photo of his license plate.

Not much damage but we decided to call the police and the officer said we had two options: 1) PD calls guy and gives him a stern talking to, or 2) file a vandalism report for the minor damage to the car.

My wife files the vandalism report.

It's these kinds of fans that make the entire group seem like a bunch of thugs. My wife could have meekly climbed into the driver seat and moved the car, but she's the type that won't take crap from anyone when's she's pregnant.

And of course I feel like a doofus missing the whole thing cause I was buying paper towels.
