conservative Christian leanings, but I kind of agree with Golic on this one: his own arrogance ruined his chance to play football. He refused to play any position other than quarterback - with his size and speed he could have been a terrific tight end, I think - but if I remember correctly, he also refused to play in the Arena League or the CFL, even at quarterback. Just seems like a waste for a guy with so much potential to do great things on the football field. And now trying to play baseball, which probably won't lead to much, if anything....
