My analysis of Taysom's 3 INTs after rewatching each play in slow motion.
INT #1 (Pick 6):
Taysom was sacked on the previous play by the OLB blitzing off the right edge. The same OLB blitzes again and Jamaal misses badly on his block. The corner stays home in zone coverage as Colby runs a slant route and does a great job reading Taysom's eyes as El-Bakri leaks out. Taysom is trying to elude the OLB so is late making the throw and then gets hit as he's throwing causing a slow, wobbly pass with too much hang time. El-Bakri doesn't help by coming back to the ball. Instead, he stops on the 45 yard line and waits for it to come to him but the corner has already broken on the pass and jumps in front of it. He has nothing but green between him and the end zone.

IMO, 3 players deserve part of the blame for this pick 6. First, Jamaal is slow to pick up the the OLB blitzing off the edge again and whiffs on the block. This is what causes the entire play to blow up. Then, El-Bakri doesn't come back to the ball and catch it at it's highest point giving the corner a chance to jump in front of it. Finally, Taysom is trying to force the play to avoid a second straight sack. I don't think he even saw the corner who switched from man to zone coverage after the snap. There is no question that this was a very poor decision for a senior QB but Jamaal and El-Bakri deserve some criticism as well.

INT #2:
After rewatching this play several times I don't find too much fault with Taysom. The pass is definitely high but still catchable. Mitchell gets both hands on it about 6" above his helmet. His elbows are still bent so he is not having to fully extend his arms to reach the ball. It hits both of his hands and is tipped up 4 feet in the air only to fall right into the hands of the free safety.

IMO, the majority of the blame for this pick should go to Mitchell. Taysom was trying to thread the ball into a soft spot in the WV zone and it would have been a perfect pass if it had been about 12" lower. A senior WR should still make that catch.

INT #3:
Whereas most of Taysom's deep balls yesterday were over thrown, this pass looked badly under thrown. Hifo, whose defender was with him stride for stride, had to come back to the ball which was also thrown inside where the defender was able to get a hand on it and tip it up where it fell right into the hands of the corner who was guarding Kurtz. It seems hard to fault Hifo on this. Maybe he could have adjusted quicker to the ball to get in front of it and shield it from the defender with his body, but the bottom line is that it was a poorly thrown ball to a receiver who was tightly covered.

As much as I dislike the throw made by Taysom on this play, I dislike the play call even more. I hate that we called TO right before this play to draw it up. We still had over a minute left on the clock and we had the defense on their heels. Why give them a chance to catch their breath? There was no need to force a 30 yard touchdown pass right then. We could have continued moving the ball to get another 1st down and used the 2 TO's we had to stop the clock and kick a FG if we don't get into the end zone. IMO, we got a little greedy here and Taysom forced the play when we didn't need to. I put half of the blame on Taysom, and, dare I say it, the other half on Ty. Just like the failed 2 point conversion attempts, this play shows to me an over aggressive play calling that takes unnecessary risks, especially when you have a QB who is struggling.
