I've considered steering my boys away from BYU for this reason
the BYU diploma on the wall has been a net positive for me (although I dislike having to talk about the Church as the first conversation with everybody who comes in my office).
With the way things are going though, I'm not sure that having the BYU name on their resume will open doors for them as easily as it did for me.
