I thought it would be good to post this video again to re-verify to all BYU football fans what type of individual we have behind center. What this man has been through in the past 4 years would cripple most human beings...not only physically but emotionally and mentally as well. Not only has he come back from 3 season ending injuries from a sport that he puts his whole heart and soul into but he had to suffer through the loss of a brother in the prime of his life. To top that off the offensive system that he knew like the back of his hand was suddenly gone and the reality of choosing to stay at BYU would mean learning a new system, under a new offensive coordinator, with a completely new coaching staff. This would cause most people to hang it up. The fact that he can even bring himself to lace up his cleats given the trials he's had to endure is an unbelievable accomplishment.

Some may say Taysom has lost a step and is just a shadow of his old self. I do not agree. When we watch him on the field tonight against Boise St may we remember what this young man has gone through and how much of himself he lays on the line each time he takes the field. All of the trials aside, the fact we have a 4-3 record, with the schedule we've played, and implementing a new very complex offensive is deserving of high praise. I wouldn't want anyone else as our field general than Taysom Freaking Hill!!
