Dumbest posts are the ones where people make arguments like...
"We lost to a ranked team by 1 point, it's ok..."

"Before the game if I told you Jamaal was out you'd say this was a sure loss. We were within 1..."

"Before the season if I told you we'd be 4-4 with a win over Michigan State, everyone would take it"

"This team's record is about what we expected with this schedule"

Who gives a crap what you expect before a game or before a season? Yes I would have been ecstatic about a michigan state win before the season, but I also wouldn't have guessed that they'd be 2-4. Once the game is played you judge a team by what actually happened on the field, NOT what you expected going in.

Going into this game, would I have thought we could win without Jamaal? No, but guess what, I also wouldn't have expected to be +5 in the TO margin. Who cares about what our preconceived notions were? What matters is what happened on the field. And after watching that game, we absolutely could have won without Jamaal. In this case we had tons of dropped passes, poor decisions by Taysom at the end of the game, a defense that scored more points than the offense, some mindboggling coaching decisions, and numerous opportunities to win that were blown on stupid mistakes. So yes, based on what actually happened on the field, we have every reason to be dissapointed.

Do I hate this team? No. Have I been calling for Taysom to be benched? No. Will I be cheering for this team in every game? Of course.

But I absolutely am dissapointed with how the offense played tonight and yes, they should have won this game.
