TLDR- BSU fans at the game were good. BSU fans away from the game were pieces of trash.

Our seats were in the middle of Boise State fans. We were able to chat with them. Didn't hear a single anti-mormon slur or even anything anti-byu. The worst fan I saw was a BYU fan wearing a cougar head 3 rows down from us. Everytime BYU would do something he'd turn around and egg on the drunk BSU fan behind him. Kudos to the drunk man for removing himself from the situation before he went crazy.

After the game BSU fans we talked with on the way out were very complimentary of BYU. They were just in disbelief that they had 5 turnovers and still won. I didn't have any negative experiences with BSU fans at the game.

On the way home we stopped at a Wendy's in Burley. We were wearing BYU shirts and you could tell people didn't like us there. We had multiple BSU fans come up to us and passively aggressively say BYU sucks. The dirty stares we got were plentiful. We talked with one BSU fan and we told him it was a great game, his response was "we should've blown you out", he kept going on and on about how BSU is so much better than BYU and that BYU sucked majorly.
