So.. In all honesty, I've attended most of the practices and Tanner has looked the far better passer. I really don't remember him throwing it away all that much, I also don't remember any time where he was playing against a specific front that had the liberty to throw whatever looks at him that they wanted either.
In terms of the offense being too complex, does anyone feel it's that complex? Aside from the varying depths of the routes most patterns are running the side line/seam or dragging the field. It really isn't that complex. And it seems that Taysom is waiting for guys to get open once they work their depth, so not sure why Tanner couldn't do that.
I honestly think it's mostly just talk by Taysom supporters looking to have his back.
At this point, I have no particular attachment to Taysom, he's been great in the past, but I'd like the team to build for next season. I kind of feel like with Taysom starting I'm being held hostage to the coaches feelings of attachment to the guy.
