A couple of points.
The 2009 team had some advantages:
1) Seniors at most positions;
2) Established system;
3) Minimal injuries;
4) Relatively easy schedule.
BYU is in a much better place now. The competition is better, the visibility is better, and the talent is better. It just needs some consistent coaching. We'll get that over the next couple of years.
In the meantime, here are some expectations that will keep you grounded:
Two of three for a really good year, three of three for a great year.
1) Win the bowl game
2) Win 10 games
3) Finish the season ranked.
