has been this year with Taysom. He has only ever been elite in one area and he is not elite there anymore.
It's also a common misunderstanding that Taysom extends plays, he really gets into a lot of trouble, what he can do is take off running when nothing is there, although this hasn't been near as effective as prior years.
Bottom line, we KNOW the offense isn't getting the job done with Taysom, and we KNOW his backup is good, that he doesn't need to be Tom Brady, only that he would be a fg better and we'd have 8 wins. It's possible the record wouldn't be any better. Most of us, including the coaches I'm guessing, are all curious though.
