I am not necessarily a "Taysomite" (rather stupid term in my opinion) but I will always throw all of my support behind whoever is playing QB at BYU. I know that it is an unpopular opinion, but I fully believe that the coaches know more than I do. There is more to the situation than you, me, or anyone else who isn't at practice every day can even begin to understand. "Fire the coach" or "Play the other guy" isn't always the answer.

I loved watching Tanner last year. He did a very good job dealing with the hand he was dealt. I also give a great deal of the credit for how good he looked to Anae (also not going to be popular around these parts).

I don't have any problem with TM sitting on the sideline with Ty Detmer and the other offensive coaches in his ear talking about what they see and what should happen on each and every play. I think the wisdom he will gain by having that perspective will be a great advantage for him next year as he takes over the reigns. I also think that TM will learn a lot following in TH footsteps in learning how to be a great leader on the team.

It wouldn't hurt my feelings if TM got some playing time, and if that happens I will cheer for him as loudly as I ever have for TH. Until that time my full and undying support will go to TH. If that makes me a "Taysomite" I will wear the badge proudly.
