Sorry guys, but there is a night and day difference between Leifson and Seljaas.
Here's my unpopular opinion on Leifson: he has terrible shot mechanics and got super lucky tonight. We've seen this before. Young kid gets hot while barely being guarded in a scrimmage. Players take note and start defending better while the kid takes terrible shots. Starts 7-7 and ends 0-7 (I'm guessing on the numbers).
The kid can get some minutes, but the next Zach Seljaas??? You've got to be kidding me. Zach actually learned how to square up and shoot like a D1 player.
Now before y'all get mad at me, just know that I'm rooting my heart out for the guy. Maybe he'll prove me wrong.
