Unless stored open somewhere it could collect dirt,mud,water, put shell in shoot
OR buy some break free squirt in barrel and buy a bore snake and pull it through a couple times ..pop shell in and shoot it.. I have shotguns I haven't shot for a devcade and would simply put shell in and shoot tomorrow if need be. but They were clean when stored.
