New Year's Eve 2007

Home visiting the parents for New Year's and had dinner at the Mall of America. I had loaded up on full rack of Tony Roma's hot ribs and sides. On the ride home, I knew I was sitting on a good one. You always know it's powerful when it's hot, really hot. I'll let that one go very quietly and new instantly it was on another level. I was sitting in the back seat and it took about 10 seconds to fill the cabin. I'm not sure if it was the smell that woke my dad up or my mom's gagging yell but the damage was done. I had to sit in the back seat with the windows down on the freeway in Minnesota four five minutes until the car could be sufficiently ventilated. It still lingered. First time in a very long time I had seen them so visibly upset but it was pretty Rancid. I let one more go in the basement of the house they smelled it upstairs. Powerful stuff.
