This year's OL included an NFL talent, a top-graded center, and a freshman all american.
How much did bad scheming and play calling contribute to what we perceived as bad OL play? OL play is complex and hard to understand, and I think too many were quick to say the OL was bad this year. Jamaal ran wild, so run blocking was adequate at the very least. It'd be hard to pass protect for a mobile QB, and it's not like BYU's WRs were running around wide open (coverage sacks).
The passing game was really bad this year. Really bad. The OL took too much of that blame.
