Would be the best thing for the league and the franchise. Clearly Utah is the worst market in the NBA. For decades free agents refuse to sign in Salt Lake unless they are too old to get offers elsewhere. A destination city in Vegas would be much better in both attracting free agents and fans to games.
T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas would be a much better home for an NBA franchise. Las Vegas has already hosted the all-star game more recently than Salt Lake and also annually hosts Summer league. Time for the NBA to set up permanent shop in Vegas and take away a team from the failing market that is Salt Lake.
