Could talk with your doc about changing to a Xa inhibitor. Often a good
alternative to warfarin and doesn't require INRs or diet modification. There is some good data in head to head trials with warfarin that show lower bleeding risk. However, if you have prosthetic heart valves or renal disease, they may not be a good option. They're also more expensive than warfarin, which has been around since the dawn of time. Pluses and drawbacks to everything. Worth asking about though.

Drugs in this class are xarelto, eliquis and lixiana. The generic names all end in -xaban.
