so after 28 years of experience and an advanced degree, she earns what a 4th year accountant makes and less than a 1st
yr banker, and she makes about half of what a 1st yr lawyer makes.
Admittedly she doesn't work as many months/hours as others - but......... with 40% quitting in the 1st 5 years (about twice the national average) and thousands not even entering teaching because of pay.... how bad does the teaching pool need to get before Utahans start paying them more?
