Your private huge co-pay argument is exactly what the health insurance in my district is. In fact, it's
so bad that I don't take it. Doing so would make me have a higher out of pocket cost as it would become my family's primary insurance. Having just my husband's means lower cost to us than double coverage. This is not great insurance.
