Something they neglect to mention
is that BYU's tuition is extremely low compared to other comparable schools, especially other private institutions. It seems to me that keeping tuition lower should be something that improves accessibility.

While I was in graduate school in the Marriott School, my program was going through reaccreditation. One of the items of feedback they received was that their tuition was too low. It was believed that low tuition was a sign of a weaker school. I'm proud that BYU has chosen not to overburden it's students with too much debt. They've made specific and conscious choices to keep tuition low and I think that's a good thing that is not recognized in this study.
