Indocoug spent 7 years living in Egypt, and lived 80 yards from a mosque for all 7 of them.
And 80 yards is not an exaggeration. The first two weeks there, that 5am call to prayer was a little early lol. However, within a month, we got so used to it, that it didn't even phase us. We would only notice it when a visitor would comment on it and then we would have to stop and focus on whatever it was our visitor said they were hearing.
