If a flipped coin lands on its edge, the reason is because just the right amount of force was used to flip it. If a rogue tire hits a guy walking it's because whatever was securing it failed. If a person gets struck by lightning, it's because the best path for the lightning ran through that person, etc. They're all reasons why something happened but they don't have any deeper meaning.
