Does BYU have any connections to Wasatch Academy? They are putting out some really nice talent right now. Koby McEwen last year and this season there is a very athletic wing named Emmanuel Akot. He would be the perfect athletic wing fit for this BYU team. He has offers from everywhere but seems to be leaning towards the Pukes right now. These are the types of complementary guys I really want to see Coach Rose target.

This is where we need a few more assistant coaches with different connections. Coach Rose and Lewis seem to have the Utah LDS connections really dialed in. But, it would take BYU to the next level if we had strong connections to HS and Prep coaches in some other geographic area and a deep connection to a foreign market like Eastern Europe, Russia or Brazil. Maybe Travis Hansen or Tavernari instead of LaComb, Nashif or May. Those dark horse foreign players have been huge for Gonzaga, St Mary's and Utah. For me, it is absolutely critical for mid-major types that cannot just go straight up and get top 20 players.
