Many applauded "slowing it down" the final 5 min vs. Zags. Here are the results.
We slowed it down on 5 possessions in the closing minutes of the game. Here are the initial results, not taking into account extended possessions.

1 - TJ misses 26' 3P (result of 1 PNR action)
2 - Eli missed contested 3P (result of 1 PNR action)
3 - TJ misses contested 3P (result of 1 PNR action)
4 - Mika makes long 2 (result of high-post feed)
5 - TJ misses stepback 2 (result of 1 PNR action)

While it was a good strategy to slow it down on the road against a very efficient team, we need to initiate the offense with ~15sec left on the shot clock instead of 8-10 if we apply this strategy later this season.

Additional time, but still shortening the game, will result in more efficient shot opportunities. Unless of course we dont trust that the extra time would result in improved looks (although NBA data says otherwise).

Slowing it down shouldn't result in wasted opportunities.

it was the last 7 minutes or so. much more than the last 5 possessions. (smokymountainrain, Mar 1, 2017 at 5:50pm)
They would have probably missed those shots anyway. (Future_Tacos, Mar 1, 2017 at 3:21pm)
